Trent Bolt, one of New Zealand’s pace attackers, got a chance to play the second and final Test of the series against England before the quarantine period.
Bolt did not play in the first Test of the drawn series. Because after playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he took a leave of absence from the country. New Zealand will play a Test series against England without Bolt.
However, Bolt arrived in England earlier on June 18 for the final of the World Test Championship against India. He went to compulsory quarantine. However, due to the sudden relaxation of Bolt’s quarantine period, Bolt got a chance to play the second Test against England.
New Zealand head coach Gary Steed said Bolt had a chance to play in the second Test. The government has relaxed some quarantine conditions. So he was released from quarantine three or four days ago. ‘
