In Bogra’s Shibganj Upazila, traders have set up fruit stalls at various fruit shops. The seasonal fruits of summer are attracting the attention of buyers. Sakawat Hossain, a farmer from Dhamahar village, Habibur Rahman from Bagilagari village, and Harun Master from Berabala village, the buyers of fruits, said that this time all the fruits seemed to come together. Other times each fruit came for a while but this time mango, blackberry, jackfruit, litchi, watermelon are all in the market now. That’s pretty good. So I bought some fruits. And hopefully, the supply will increase in the future, and then the price of fruits will decrease further.

Mostafizur Rahman Badshah and Abdul Gafur, litchi farmers and mango growers of Paner Tika village of the Upazila, said that the yield of litchi has been quite good this year due to lack of rainfall. Production has increased this year compared to last year.
