Kahalu police are in a tough position to enforce the government ban even on the 5th day of the all-out lockdown in Kahalu, Bogra.
From Sunday morning till noon, Kahalu Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Amber Hossain (IGP Medal recipient) along with allied forces were seen patrolling the municipal town, various hat-bazaars, and streets.
At that time the roads were empty. Although public transport is closed, goods and emergency services vehicles are plying. Although shopping malls and shops were closed, daily necessities and raw materials shops were open but closed at certain times. To raise public awareness about the restrictions imposed by the government, a massive publicity campaign is being carried out in 9 unions of the Upazila including the municipal town on the initiative of Kahalu Thana police.
Kahalu police inspector (investigation) was present at the time. Harun Aur Rashid, Second Officer Md. Abu Shahin Qadir, SI Nazmul Haque, Mohiuddin, Khair Uddin, Hafizur Rahman, Mehedi Hasan, Mukul Chandra Barman, Rezaul Karim, Khokon Chandra Bhaimik, Gulbahar Khatun, ASI Masud Rana, Zahidur Rahman , Milon, Aroj Ali and other members of the police.
Kahalu Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Amber Hossain (IGP Medal recipient) said that the Thana Police is working at the field level from a strict position to implement the lockdown and raise awareness among the people. He said the police would continue their efforts to implement the activities announced by the government.
